in august 2009 i went to a tango lesson because of a planned trip to buenos aires and as they say" "the rest is history" and i am dancing tango ever since! many hours of dancing and learning later i discovered a need relating to tango attire. for several years before tango i had been dancing hula and i always had a pareo with me because whatever you wear, you put a pareo around you and you are in 'costume', ready to hula!
and i thought: wouldn’t it be great to have a “pareo for tango” - a Tango pAREO - to be 'tango-ready' anywhere and anytime. and so tareos™ was born.
tareos™ are a comfortable, affordable, easy to use and to carry piece of 'equipment' for tango so you can focus on the dance and don't have to worry about anything else.
and while tareos™ were created for tangueras they can be worn by everybody for almost any situation.
